Brittany and Ryan’s Wedding at The Reserve at Fat Bottom Brewing Co. in Nashville, TN couldn’t have been more beautiful or more FUN, for that matter. You’re going to have to bear with me on this one; when family and photography mix, I tend to get a little sentimental and create long (AWESOME) blog posts. I’m pretty sure it’s impossible to attend a wedding as a guest when you’re a professional photographer (hired hand or not!) and NOT take photos the entire time...is it just me?! Prepare yourselves. :)

Ryan was and is quite the avid runner and Brittany (self-admittedly), slightly less so. Nevertheless, she decided to join the “East Nasty” running group and RAN into (get it) Ryan fairly early on in this new venture. Despite their pace differences, they ended up feeling like old friends, attending (and losing) local trivia nights, Ryan even snuck in a breakfast date for good measure and was able to run away with Brittany’s heart! (Okay, I promise I’m done with the running puns. Promise.)

After Brittany and Ryan’s Proposal/Engagement session, I definitely didn’t feel any pressure at all to deliver anything less than ABSOLUTELY AMAZING wedding portraits; no big deal. Gentlemen, in case you’re out there taking notes on how to make an impact with your proposal...this is where you should really start paying attention. ;) After successfully achieving private pilot status in life, Ryan invited Brittany out for a flight to practice a few maneuvers. Those maneuvers may or may not have made Brittany want to call it a day, but in the end it was MORE than worth it. Ryan revealed their flight path after they landed, a map that read “Marry Me <3”. Y’ALL. This is seriously movie material. AND to complete a dream come true proposal, Ryan had a photographer there to capture the entire thing go down! I wasn’t kidding, guys; TAKE NOTES.

Their perfect Fall wedding day started at Woodmont Baptist, where the girls all hung out and got ready for the big day together. Some of my favorite moments from the morning were how Brittany’s flower girl and niece was SO excited to be with her “Brit-Brit”. (Fun fact: Lilah was also the flower girl at our wedding a few years ago, so if you’re in need of an experienced flower girl, this sweet kid has plenty of references!) The guys spent the afternoon hanging out at Fat Bottom Brewing, where the staff was awesome enough to let us take a few of their portraits in the actual Brewery. (Better keep scrolling!) Brittany and Ryan gave personal gifts to each other prior to the ceremony; a beautiful necklace for Brittany and a personalized Pilot’s log book for Ryan.

If you know me, you know that I LOVE private first looks on wedding days, but I’m pretty sure I’ll always be a sucker for that moment the Groom sees his Bride coming down the aisle for the first time. Ryan made it difficult to keep taking pictures as Brittany was walking down the aisle with her father since I was tearing up so much at his reaction to his soon-to-be wife!! I LOVE THIS JOB.

Ryan’s getaway car was his own personal Ford Model T from the early 1900’s. *PHOTOGRAPHER’S DREAM* Not only was it beautiful, but it ACTUALLY got them away to the Reception at The Reserve at Fat Bottom Brewing. As with everything else, Brittany and Ryan’s reception was nothing short of spectacular. With an amazing venue, THE best Beatles tribute band, a hearty dinner, wedding planners who were on top of every last detail, and even spontaneous limbo, we could’ve filled an entire blog (or two) with JUST these fun photos.

Brittany and Ryan, I can’t thank you guys enough for both inviting us and trusting us to capture the happiest day ever! We had a BLAST and now I’m going to wish that all of our weddings involved Model T’s and Beatles cover bands. ;) I hope you guys love this little summary of your perfect day as much as we do; I can’t WAIT until you see your entire gallery!!

Those SOCKS.

I'll never NOT tear up during this part of the day. (Especially when it's your uncle and cousin!!)

The T had to have it's moment in the spotlight as well!

Special thanks to Fat Bottom Brewing Co. for letting us hang out and take photos in the Brewery! I can definitely say that's a first for us, surprisingly enough with all of the breweries we have here in Huntsville.

Woodmont Baptist made getting all of the perfect venue shots TOO easy. :)

LOVE this bridal party!!

If we lived in Nashville, I'm pretty sure Fat Bottom Brewing would pretty much be our second home. Such a cool place! This reception was SO much fun. Good food and an amazing band didn't hurt either. ;)
